History
Established in Geelong in the early 1970’s from 2 other bands, SMOKE’N’ASHES and YOU. 20th CENTURY wrote and performed original material and worked in Geelong and Melbourne before recording a single and relocating to Sydney in 1978 under Rod Willis from Nucleus.

Bill Dart and Kevin Bishop from DB concert sound took their PA to Sydney and mixed front of house and foldback. They were also joined by guitarist Joe Calderazzo.

Venues played included, Frenches Tavern, Maroubra Seals Club, The Bondi Lifesaver, Penrith Leagues Club, Cronulla Leagues Club, Stage Door Tavern, Riverwood Hotel, Blacktown RSL, Castle Hill RSL, Manly Flicks, Pleasures Wine Bar, Avalon RSL, Wollongong Workers Club, Opera House outdoor gig.

The band returned home to Geelong in 1979.

Extra Notes
Special mention of Bill Dart who was with us from the start. A positive influence on Geelong musicians and performers. He was the glue that helped keep bands together and we regarded him as another member of the band. RIP Bill.
