History

Rondeau formed in early 1977 after Grey Haze split up around the end of 1976. Graeme and Lothar (Mushy) got together with John West to start a new band.

Needing a Keyboard player/vocals, Kaylin joined the band not long after. Rondeau played at most of the popular reception houses in Geelong such as Berkley lodge/ Sladen House, Rosnashane and The Silver Horse Shoe as well as The Valley Inn, The Great Western, The Worker’s Club and a variety of halls around the Geelong area for private functions such as weddings or cabarets.

Extra Notes

The band had a reunion at a surprise 60th Birthday party for Lothar (Mushy) in 2016. Some behind the scenes plans and a secret rehearsal led to a fantastic night where Rondeau played many of their old numbers for guests.

This led to a renewing of friendships within the band and more jams at home. We were extremely shocked and saddened by the passing of John West in 2020.
