Typical Gigs

Initially church dances until they were offered the house band position at the Palais Royal which they held for 13 years playing 2 and 3 nights a week.

History

As house band at the Palais they had the opportunity to back the best of Australian talent as well as many overseas artists.

They also appeared on Channel 9 and BTV6. Gavin went on to regular appearances on Channel 9’s Tonight Show and did 3 years on the BTV6 Tonight Show plus guest gigs at Dorset Gardens, Sydney RSL Clubs, Launceston and Mildura.

Bill and Charles Later formed ‘Two’s Company’ playing for many years. Gavin and Dennis formed ‘Me and My Shadows’ with Gary Talbot on keyboards and Michael Pink and later Gerry Spall on drums.
